Beautiful British Columbia
Cariboo Chilcotin
The breathtaking Caribou Chiloctin region of Central BC is home to fewer than 100,000 people. While the inland areas feature open rangeland and rolling hills, the rugged coastline boasts the world's longest fjords, forming a natural gateway to scenic coves and pristine beaches. Thousands of clean, clear lakes and over 17,000 kilometres of cool rivers and streams make this one of the world's finest regions for sport fishing and canoeing. You can spend summers horseback riding at one of the numerous working ranches or taking interpretive nature walks, and winters backcountry skiing or touring by dog sled.

The top industries of the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region are forestry, tourism, agriculture, and mining. Its many communities include Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, and the coastal towns of Bella Bella, and Bella Coola. The region is easily accessed by road, rail, sea, and air.

The Cariboo Chilcotin Region is served by four Health Authorities; the Interior Health Authority, Northern Health Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, and Provincial Health Services Authority.
